Senior Designer, Commercial Job Specialist & Showroom Manager at Short Hills Marble & Tile for over 11 years–

with a total of 15 years in the stone and tile industry.  Adrienne was born and raised in New Jersey learning the family business of commercial construction where she began working on both drafting & estimating projects at a very young age.  Adrienne realized she wanted to stay in the construction industry but also utilize her creative skills which led her to a formal career in interior design. Transitioning into design for residential homes, ​Adrienne found her calling and fell in love with the world of stone and tile.

 Favorite Materials – Natural Stone by Far.  No other materials can compare the beauty and depth.   I enjoy working with this regularly and having the ability to create anything I can image through our factories “bringing my visions to life” is a bonus

Mona started in the tile industry in the early 2000’s when she was an Interior Design student at Berkeley College.

After almost 20 years she can say that this is where she is meant to be, and the world of tile and stone has become a passion of hers.

Her favorite types are natural stone as she loves the natural beauty of a tile made by the earth.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning to cook new things.

Maria joined the SHMT team last year and has quickly become a valued team member.

Her love for design is how she ended up working as a design consultant, helping others create their dream homes. Maria’s design style combines a classic clean look with a twist of soft modern to create timeless looks that are impossible to get tired of.

Before joining Short Hills Marble and Tile, Maria worked in two tile shops. Building up experience and love for her job, she realized that tile and design will always be her passion.

She listens to what her client is trying to achieve when designing their home and loves to work with natural stones. 

Maria enjoys exercising, loves to travel (especially back to her family in Portugal) dog mom to Zoey and her teenage daughter.

Najae started as an intern for SHMT and is now a FT Design Consultant! 

As a recent graduate of Kean University with a BA in Interior Design, Najae possesses a natural desire to design interiors that exceed client expectations. Najae has an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach to business. 

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and trying new restaurants. She also loves traveling to the Caribbean for experiences and inspiration. 

Najae prides herself on inspiring clients to create their dream home one tile at a time. 

Emma started as an intern for SHMT over 2 years ago and just came on as a FT Design Assistant! 

Emma graduated from Kean University with a B.F.A in Interior Design in May 2022. When she started as an intern for us in 2019 she had no knowledge of tile and stone. (most don’t as these textiles are not taught much in school – it’s more of a hands on experience) 

Since then she has gained an appreciation for tile and stone and all its natural beauty. Emma enjoys working with vibrant colors and patterns. In case her pink hair didn’t give that away! We swear only Emma can pull off this look – along with her fashionable attire everyday she looks like she stepped out of a magazine ad! 

In her free time she enjoys drawing and does digital art – she is our CAD QUEEN!. She also bakes and often brings in homemade treats for the team including….
